More details about Disease
Lymphoma is cancer that begins in infection-fighting cells of the immune system. These cells are called lymphocytes and are present in the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, bone marrow, and other body parts. In the case of lymphoma, the lymphocytes grow out of control and form a tumor. The lymphatic system is a germ-fighting network in the body, and lymphoma can affect the whole system, as well as other body parts as well.
