Risk Factors for Sarcoma Cancer
Risk Factors for Sarcoma disease :

  • Inherited syndrome - One is likely to develop Sarcoma if their parents have had it earlier. 
  • Radiation therapy - This therapy for cancer treatment increases the risk of Sarcoma occurrence. 
  • Chronic swelling - Lymphedema is a chronic swelling and this also increases the risk of Sarcoma type. 
  • Chemical exposure - Industrial chemicals, dioxins, phenoxyacetic Herbicides, and Vinyl chloride can cause Sarcoma.  
  • Viral exposure - Herpesvirus B can increase the risk of Kaposi’s sarcoma and weaken the immune system. 
  • Bone Disorder - Having a bone disorder called Paget’s disease increases the effect of 
  • Genetic disorder - If you have a certain genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis, Gardner syndrome, retinoblastoma, or Li-Fraumeni syndrome.
